Andreas Schmidt-Hartmann

In 2016 I started to write this symphony – as my little answer to our big times. There are so many good laws that we hardly know or use. There is so much music –more than ever before- and everything is free! But still it is all for nothing… because lots of people are overloaded with sensory stimuli and speed. Where do we learn how to listen?

How to listen to the inner voice? How to perceive what the other is really trying to say? Do not let your attention be distracted. Do not ignore your inner voice. Listen attentively. Stay with it. Endure it. Stop it. Be connected.
My experience shows: to feel connected, I have to start connecting with myself and thus with everything else!

Simply BE there. Listen/ sense/ feel what already exists. Hear the unheard-of. Close your eyes.

“Listening
is a quiet consciousness in the middle of a choir of neurons.
In the middle of a choir of cells.
In the middle of a choir of humans.
In the middle of a choir of living beings.
In the middle of a choir of celestial bodies.
In the middle of a choir of galaxies.
In the middle of a choir of universes.
In the middle of a choir of quiet consciousness.”
